So what's this got to do with you?
Well, we're getting NADJ (National Association of Disc Jockeys) back on track again in Yorkshire so that like minded professional dj's can meet up to share ideas, business tricks and tips, see product demo's and generally help to lift the profile of our industry and hopefully get better gigs and increase our earnings.
Next meeting is on the May 26th 2010 (Wednesday) at The (New) Conference & Function Suite, The George, Cleckheaton nr Bradford, BD19 3RA
What was on the agenda back in May?
- Introduction by Simon & Paul
- Product Demonstration to be confirmed
- Talking Points / Break for food & drink
- Current Releases
- Mystery Shopper item
- Items up for Bring & Buy
- Raffle / Close
This month's meeting kindly sponsored by Discotechnology (we hope to make this venue our regular meeting place).
So what's the catch?
Nothing, you don't need to be an NADJ member to attend, we don't force you to join (although we'll be happy to explain the benefits).
You can even bring along that unwanted piece of kit to sell on the Bring & Buy !!!
If you're bringing anything for the Bring & Buy please email us at

Even if you think "there's nothing anyone can tell me that help me improve my business", why not come along and even if you only come away with one good idea or a cheap piece of kit it's been worth it.

| NADJ Important Announcement |
|
The NADJ has temporarily suspended membership applications until 01/05/2010 following the announcement of the new Public Liability Policy at the 2010 AGM. With immediate effect membership subscriptions will rise to £75, but it will now include £10million worth of PLI cover. The policy includes the 'dry hire' of equipment and the use of winch systems that DJs use for overhead lighting.
The NADJ appreciates that there may be members who require amendments to the policy that the NADJ has helped to create. Our insurers have agreed to talk to these individuals to make specific changes based on individual circumstances. There may be an additional premium for alterations or additions to the policy and those matters can be dealt with through the insurance company.
This is a great step forward for the NADJ and is certainly a fantastic member’s benefit.
